OPERATIONS ANALYST, BID MANAGEMENT
JOB DESCRIPTION
The position requires a strong operational mindset, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities across the Generics business unit and with other ClarusONE team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitation and execution of planned RFPs and other solicitation operations. This includes executing and eventually leading the bid review process including preparing bid packets, soliciting supplier bids, validating bids, coordinating pricing review and award issuing.

Resource planning for solicitation activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and implementation coordination across multi-functional teams across both ClarusONE and its members.

Pre, mid, and post-stage bid analysis support. Includes financial planning and first-level analyses and validations of all bids to be added to ClarusONE’s Proprietary Generics Programs.

Coordination and enhancement of the current bid evaluation process, across ClarusONE’s membership.

Work with legal, finance and product management to implement effective terms and conditions to maximise value and reduce risk in bid events.
REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience

Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or Economics

Minimum of 3 years’ formal business experience; experience in product management or operations a plus.

Product sourcing experience especially in generic pharmaceuticals preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

Strong analytic and systems skills – ability to manage large data sets.

Time management, including ability to organise and prioritise work for both direct team as well as the greater organisation to consistently meet critical and/or conflicting daily deadlines while ensuring the highest level of accuracy.

High level of proficiency with MS Office suite especially with an ability to create and improve moderately complex Excel templates, pivot tables etc.

Proven ability to engage all levels of the business to research, analyse recommend and implement.

Understands KPI measurement and development.

Process management, including the ability to cite areas in which process enhancements – either through technology or “ways-of-working” – may be implemented.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, flexible and adaptive to changes in the business.

Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external business partners and to influence a diverse set of stakeholders.

Ability to work autonomously.

Knowledge of retail Generics products and program offerings a plus.

Willingness and ability to attend frequent after-hours meetings and to travel approximately 10% of the year.
