BID ANALYTICS MANAGER, BID MANAGEMENT
JOB DESCRIPTION
The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and cross-functional collaboration across the Generics business unit and with other ClarusONE team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing all levels of analysis for solicited bids seeking to be added to ClarusONE’s Generics Programs. This includes internal and externa data validations, award recommendations and incorporation of intelligence/visualisation to develop insights to business stakeholders.

Leveraging standard use of the eRFX tool (Coupa/Trade Extensions/CSO) for the administration and strategic development of bid events. Developing expertise with the incumbent system and being an SME for the execution of events using eRFX/bid analysis tools.

Oversight and execution of data analysis with regards to the bid review process including preparation of bid packets, solicitations, validating bids, pricing and award letter setups. Developing the implementation schedule (switches) and vendor setup for large events.

Insights and actionable analytics derived from bid event results including savings, yield and other key KPIs. Development of product and supplier dashboards for consumption by multiple constituents.

Operational review of solicitation events, including process enhancement, prioritisation and execution support.
REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience

Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Economics

Minimum of 5 years’ formal business experience; experience in product management a plus.

Product sourcing experience especially in generic pharmaceuticals preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
-
Strong analytic and systems skills – ability to manage, manipulate, create and visualise within large sets of complex data.

Understands how to tie analytics to process automation.

Expert proficiency with MS Office suite and working knowledge of relational databases, i.e. MS Access, Alteryx (SQL preferred), eRFX experience (Coupa/Trade Extensions preferred).

Time management, including ability to organise and prioritise work to consistently meet critical and/or conflicting daily deadlines while ensuring the highest level of accuracy.

Proficient with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word. Able to create and improve moderately complex Excel templates.

Proven ability to research, analyse and problem solve.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, flexible and adaptive to changes in the business.

Knowledge of retail Generics products and program offerings a plus.

Willingness and ability to attend frequent after-hours meetings and to travel approximately 10% of the year.
