SOURCING AND SUPPLIER RELATIONS ASSOCIATE

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sourcing Associate will support generic pharmaceutical sourcing and product operations activities for ClarusONE and its members. Daily sourcing activities include portfolio and system maintenance, pricing review, and inventory management. The associate will also be responsible for gathering information, performing product and supplier research and analysing data to prepare recommendations for product and supplier sourcing. The product operation activities will include development of activity dashboards, establish KPI’s, drive efficiencies and automation of processes

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for data gathering, analysing, reporting, and developing recommendations. Reconciles multiple sources of data to analyse trends & opportunities; provides financial outputs for business cases and/or product development requirements

  • Performs analysis that informs tactical decision making and solves business problems related to potential or current business opportunities that meet project requirements and drive incremental profit related to source programs

​

  • Support the bid review process, validating bids, identifying share shifts, pricing and contracting review and issuing award letters. Support the Sourcing & Supplier Relations Team with developing the implementation schedule and vendor setup

​

  • Manage the Gx Sourcing mailbox and Ark work queue, classify and assign cases to relevant sourcing team members in a timely manner

​

  • Process product operations related SF cases within the agreed upon timeframe

​

  • Facilitate new supplier setup across ClarusONE platforms i.e. Ark, SourceSpace or any future systems and ensure the new suppliers are on-boarded in relation to ClarusONE operational ways of working

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge/Skills

​

  • Knowledge of purchasing, sourcing and/or product management of product distributed within multiple warehouse environment

​

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and/or Access

​

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

​

  • Well organised, process and team-oriented with the ability to prioritise quickly

​

  • Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels of management and internal/external customers to get results quickly – able to communicate complex data to stakeholders in a simplified and action-oriented manner

 

  • Highly motivated self-starter; ability to initiate and manage work with minimal supervision

 

 

Education/Experience

​

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or similar

​

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sourcing, finance/business analysis or product management

​

  • Product sourcing experience preferred; especially in generic pharmaceuticals

​

Travel Requirements

​

  • 5% travel with some after-hours business meetings
